The first project in this section is on the students of our time. I was heavily influenced by Thomas Ruff on this project. Lighting for each model was kept the same, only the lighting for the backdrop changed between shoots by lowering/raising its power. This project was shot on colour medium format film with a Mamiya RZ67.
The second project in this section is on people and the environment. I wanted to make a comment on how we come from complete nature and only our man-made selves have disconnected us from it. I wanted to show this by shooting people wearing clothes with a similar colour scheme to the environment they are in. This was shot on colour medium format film with a Mamiya RZ67.
The third project is a group project done with Emily Long, Daniel Warnecke and Taylor Fortune. We collectively built the set over the week and photographed all on the last day. This was a fashion shoot and we were aiming to achieve a derelict house which symbolised the models childhood home. This was a really interesting project for me and taught me a lot about working with a group and setting up a professional shoot. This was shot in studio on a Canon 5D.
